Over The Reality (aka OVER) is a new standard for geolocalized extended reality experiences, with a decentralized virtual environment based on the Ethereum blockchain and the Polygon protocol.
Key Concepts
To understand the implications of the mission, it is essential to understand the concept of Extended Reality (XR):

1. OVRLAND Ownership Layer
These properties, known as OVRLands, are based on the NFT standard to grant control over XR (Extended Reality) experiences at the defined geographic location.
To date, more than 800K OVRLands have already been acquired through transactions with the company's native token, forming a community of 37K owners worldwide.
2. OVER Mapping Layer

OVER Mapper Tool was launched in late 2022 with the ambitious goal of digitizing the entire planet in a 3D geolocated environment. This would allow the creation of advanced XR experiences thanks to the precision achieved in the mappings.
Information reported in the team's research, platform data, and feedback from the community on Discord and Telegram.
Market Overview

Proposed Solution
How to build and grow a thriving creative community?
How to make the design and development of experiences in OVER more user-friendly and engaging?
How to make the investment of time and money in OVER more attractive to the user community?
By providing a platform for verified users to connect and collaborate, we can enhance the quantity and quality of augmented reality experiences available in a much more social, secure, and trustworthy environment.
Information Architecture
Wireframing
We designed and developed the first prototypes of the main interface, based on the current guidelines of OVER, but incorporating new parameters and improvements over the initial architecture.

To optimize the concentration and focus of the project, the main objective defined in this stage was the conception of a main news feed in the web app, dedicated to the promotion of calls, projects, and community events.
Following this, a simulation of the XR experience would have to be achieved from the same platform used (Figma).

Considerations for XR/UI Design

The AR and VR prototypes, originating from a two-dimensional surface adeptly adapted to a 360-degree canvas, showcase the platform's versatility. These adaptations lay the groundwork for seamless integration of XR capabilities when the platform extends to mobile devices in subsequent phases.
This approach ensures a consistent and engaging user experience across a range of devices as OVER Collab Hub evolves.

User Testing
The initial usability tests were conducted using a high-fidelity graphic prototype, but with interaction functionalities limited to the objectives of each test. The users invited were the most active members of the OVER community on Discord and Telegram.

The results were favorable, allowing us to gather suggestions and perspectives that were later incorporated into the advanced prototype.

Interactive Components
After creating the initial essential variables and styles for the Collab Hub Design System, and refining the main concept through usability tests, the next challenge was to design, configure, and validate the components that would elevate the experience to the next level. The following results were achieved:
AR and VR immersion button.
Dropdown and customizable sidebar.
3 color modes for the interface: light, dim, and dark.
Floating menu with notifications.
Network change for Web3 connection.
Interactive overlay pop-ups designed for both "Recruit a Team" and VR guide information.
Publications with "Show More Info" ( i ) Buttons.

Technology under development
Spatial design in extended reality still faces certain challenges of accessibility, security, and the absence of that "killer app" that would boost the industry. There is work to be done!
